Full-Day Catskill Immersion-Excursion. We explore the historic pools and runs of the Beaverkill River and Willowemoc Creek watersheds with classic dry-flies and the highest of hopes. Your admission into the Fly Fishing Museum of the Catskills for our mid-day break is booked, and you'll have a sit-down-lunch in Livingston Manor or Roscoe, NY. Learn about the fly fishing history of this amazing area, the people and families that helped start and guide a then fledgeling industry to where it is today, and all of their highly relevant contributions to it. No tour of this area would be complete without stopping by the Beaverkill Covered Bridge where Theodore Gordon first cast his Quill Gordon dry-fly. Why wouldn't we throw a cast or two in while we're here?
Post-Excursion Brewery or Distillery Tour. Anybody know what a Mash Tun is? How about a Whiskey-Wash? Consenting adults over the age of 21 who are interested in local craft-beer and/or the distilled spirit scene can add a private brewery or distillery tour to be enjoyed at the end of your guided fishing trip. Why wouldn't a Guy or Gal?
